Project Description
Tungsten Copper Rotary Electrodes:
Description:
Tungsten copper rotary electrode for EDM and ECM is manufactured by the press, sinter, and infiltrate process. In order to reach a consistent homogeneous material giving high and even burning rates, we use virgin and excellent powders.
Grade:
The majority of copper tungsten electrodes for EDM is a 70% tungsten, 30% copper mixture. (except rolled sheet which is 60% tungsten, 40% copper. ) Other mixtures are available such as 80% tungsten, 20% copper; 75% tungsten, 25% copper, etc.
Application:
Tungsten copper alloys are used worldwide for EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) and ECM (Electrochemical Machining) as electrodes. Tungsten copper is used in plunger/sinker applications where intricate definition is required.
For eroding PCD tools, our supreme Copper Tungsten Rotary Electrode can be used for Walter and Vollmer equipment that include QM400, QF270, QW, QR270, QMC, QXD200, QXD400, QM, QX, Helitronic and QM eco. Easy to maintain, this electrode possesses excellent conductivity level that assists in its functional stability.
